A third (32%) of investors predict China and the US will not agree a trade deal, triggering major economic disruption, according to a CoreDate Research study.

A survey of 154 global institutional investors in Q2 found 77% are making tactical shifts owing to president Donald Trump’s policies, while this rises to 86% in Europe.

While 32% of global investors predict China and US will fail to come up with a trade agreement and consequently reinstate trade barriers that will unleash major economic disruption, concern is highest among Europeans with 40% expecting this scenario.
